Edible Bee

First off, I apologize for not doing a bee yesterday. I hope no one is too disappointed. Secondly, sorry that this bee is a bit late in the day.

Anyway, this bee is edible! Mostly. I wouldn't advise licking the skin or anything, but, it's guts are fit for human consumption!

Since it's a figure, rather than an image, I'm posting a few angles. Enjoy!

Edit to add:

I had to add a couple pictures of the poor little fellow in his final resting spot. I feel really, really guilty for leaving him there... seriously. This is why food isn't supposed to be cute. However, I'm hoping I get an excellent reaction from my dad, when he goes to get something for breakfast. Then again, who knows what condition the poor bee will be in by morning. Bees don't do well in cold climates. If he's still there when I get up, and if he's changed any, I'll post a picture of his fate (tomorrow).

Salacious Bee

This bee is made of ripped construction paper. It wasn't meant to look dirty and/or like it would mate with you and then devour your head, like a praying mantis. But it turned out that way. Hence, it's a Salacious Bee.

Wax Bee

So, this bee took a while to make. It's the first time I've used wax, and it's a tricky medium. There are several smudges. I'll definitely need to work on it more. For now, here's the first ever Wax Bee:

Also, the bee kind of needs some smile whitener.

P.S. I noticed, too late, that yesterday's bee didn't have antennae! Poor bee =(

Every day, a new bee.

So, all this blog is, is a place for me to post my fantastic bee art, and other bee-related stuff. But mainly bee art. And by "art" I mean "goofy pictures I drew".

Why am I doing this? Because it amuses me. And drawing silly bees is the most therapeutic activity in existence. For real. Try it sometime.

As for the title of this post, all that means is that I will try to post a new bee picture every single day. For todays, I was kind of in a rush, so I just drew a simple pen bee on looseleaf.

Dimpled Bee:

I know, it's not a masterpiece. I was rushed. It gives you an idea of the style though, and, it's a bee! There will be more complexly drawn/painted/somethinged bees in the future.
